It seems many of us have embraced the opportunity to exercise outside and the number of runners and cyclists I see on my regular running route still seems to be increasing

As an advocate of outdoor exercise, this is great to see but as a runner who has incurred injuries from over-training, I also want to highlight the importance of adding some variation to your exercise routine

Repetitive sports such as running and cycling can benefit hugely from yoga to help keep all areas of your body mobile and strong

I‘ve taught yoga for sports for several years and am now running two online sessions a week

These classes help bring awareness to our own individual mobility and include strengthening and core focus movements with no previous yoga experience needed
